About This Course
Java Full Stack Development is a practical 30-day learning program designed to take students from basic programming concepts to building a complete Java-based application. The course begins with Java setup, syntax, variables, decision making, loops, arrays, strings, methods, and object-oriented programming. Students then progress into exception handling, collections, generics, lambda expressions, Streams, file handling, multithreading, Maven, testing, SQL, JDBC, and database integration. The backend portion introduces Spring Boot, REST APIs, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, validation, DTOs, and exception handling. In the final stage, students connect a simple front end to the backend, use Git and GitHub, test the complete solution, review deployment concepts, and build a final Student Course Management System. The course is structured around hands-on practice, module quizzes, and project work so students learn by applying each concept.
What You Will Learn
- Understand Java syntax, program structure, JDK/JRE/JVM, and the Java development workflow
- Use variables, data types, operators, conditions, loops, arrays, strings, and reusable methods
- Apply object-oriented programming using classes, objects, inheritance, polymorphism, encapsulation, abstraction, and interfaces
- Handle exceptions, organize code with packages, and use access modifiers effectively
- Work with Java Collections, generics, lambda expressions, Streams, and Optional
- Read and write files, understand concurrency basics, manage projects with Maven, and write JUnit tests
- Use SQL and JDBC to build database-driven Java applications
- Build REST APIs using Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, validation, DTOs, and centralized error handling
- Connect a basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript front end to Java REST APIs and manage code with Git/GitHub
- Build, test, document, and present a complete full-stack project and prepare for Java/Spring Boot interviews

- Module 1: Introduction to Java and Development EnvironmentStart with the Java ecosystem and learn how Java source code becomes a running program. Students install a JDK, configure an IDE, understand the role of the JDK, JRE, and JVM, and create their first applications. The goal of this module is to remove setup confusion and give students enough confidence to create, compile, run, and troubleshoot simple Java programs on their own.10
- 1.1Lesson 1: What Is Java?
- 1.2Lesson 2: Why Organizations Use Java
- 1.3Lesson 3: Java Architecture and Program Execution
- 1.4Lesson 4: JDK, JRE, and JVM
- 1.5Lesson 5: Installing Java
- 1.6Lesson 6: Setting Up an IDE
- 1.7Lesson 7: Java Program Structure
- 1.8Lesson 8: Your First Java Program
- 1.9Lesson 9: Compiling and Running from the Command Line
- 1.10Lesson 10: Common Beginner Errors and Troubleshooting
- Module 2: Java FundamentalsLearn the building blocks used in almost every Java program: variables, primitive and reference types, constants, operators, type conversion, expressions, and console input. Students finish the module by building a small calculator and data-entry program.1
